I use the "Get Current Song" action with Apple Music in various shortcuts, and it frequently gives me this error:
The operation couldn't be completed.
(MPRequestErrorDomain error 1.)
This has to be a popular Shortcuts action, so I'm surprised it's so flaky. Is this a known issue others experience? Anyone know of any workarounds?
I have a few shortcuts that convert links from one music streaming service to another using the Odesli API. E.g. if I have a Spotify link, convert it to Apple Music or YouTube, etc. Sadly, they recently announced they're discontinuing the API: https://linktr.ee/help/en/articles/15201827-sunsetting-the-songlink-odesli-public-api#songlinkrequestform
Wanted to give a heads up to this community as I'm sure others use shortcuts that rely on their link conversion. I haven't found any alternatives, but if anyone knows of one please let me know!
