Portal Date Refresh: August 18, 2026 (The "Application submitted on" date on my GOV.UK portal automatically refreshed to 18 Aug- a huge sign a caseworker was actively in my file!)
Official Approval Email: August 20, 2026 (6 weeks 2 days)

Hey everyone, I need some quick advice.
I’ve had mild vaginal itching for about 5 days, mainly on the inner labia and clitoral hood. No pain or burning.
I’m currently on my period and using a menstrual cup. I’ve noticed some off-white discharge on the cup mixed with blood, but it’s not thick, not clumpy, and there’s no smell.
I’m wondering if this is:
early yeast infection, or
just irritation from the cup / period changes
I’m confused because Google keeps pointing to yeast, but my symptoms don’t fully match (no thick white discharge or strong symptoms).
Has anyone experienced something similar during period cup use? Should I wait it out or start antifungal treatment just in case?
