For those in Ontario, how long did you wait to have surgery after your consultation?

I saw my family doctor on 05/11 and she referred me to a surgeon, did some liver function tests on 05/12 which came out normal, and I have my surgeon consult appointment on 05/26 next week. I know my family doctor said my area (I am outside the GTA) takes 4-6 months for my case (I elaborated on this on my previous post), but I'm wondering how long did it take for people in Ontario (or even anywhere in Canada) to get their gall bladders removed?

<1cm gallstone but no inflammation?

22F and had a gallbladder attack starting Wednesday night or so (rib pain radiating to the shoulder blades, nausea, gas). I once was told I had gallstones around 3 years ago when I was hospitalized for appendicitis actually.

I went to urgent care on Saturday morning to get it checked out, and my ultrasound showed a stone measuring 0.5-1.0 cm. Ultrasound report also said no objective findings to suggest any cholecystitis, and Murphy's sign is negative.

The doctor at urgent care did mention that I should get surgery to remove my gall bladder, and my GP said it is more of an elective procedure in my case. In the meantime she gave me blood work to check my liver function, and told me to stick to a low fat/fat free diet. Since I'm in Ontario, referrals to a surgeon in my area take around 4-6 months, so I have to thug it out till then through diet and morphine/Advil+Tylenol.

Is it possible to have a SINGLE gallstone and pain yet no inflammation 🥲 as well, I am looking for safe diet/foods to manage my gallbladder in the meantime. Any advice/insight is appreciated :)
