With Neymar's inclusion in Brazil's 2026 World Cup squad, we'll most likely be getting a team pack with an epic version of him

Finally decided to get a new "peak rank" for once

>Had a terrible start to the season, but made a decent recovery later on; hopefully I end somewhere <25k.

>Shoutout to a couple of people on this subreddit for making the AWB posts. This dude has been incredible at right-back; dude's saved me more times than I can even remember.

Just a tip to people ranting about the game: post your teams bro

>I see people constantly complaining about the game -which is fine if it isn't in excess- but I rarely see these same people attaching a pic of their teams. It's completely fine to complain about stuff like smart assist and shit, but if its about constantly losing, at least attach your team so that other people can help mitigate things inside of your control.

>I came across a guy yesterday complaining about his opponent; found out that said guy was using Neymar in a double-pivot, and was complaining about losing. This is just one of many examples I've come across recently of someone just not sharing enough about themselves for other people to really help them out. I think it's just sort of annoying for people to complain about the game but not seek any help.

>You don't always have to seek help, but I think for the people who are always losing and whatnot, just reach out. It's fine to lose, and it's fine to want help.

This free Zielinski card is unironically good

>All of his games played were in Division 1. I've also attached a pic of my squad to show where he plays.

>His stat panel is super solid, with his only "real" weakness being his mid defensive abilities. He's eitherfooted, feels good to dribble with, actually has REALLY decent finishing for a cmf/amf; iirc, he's 101 rated at amf. Physical contact is solid for a guy like him. Zielinski also has a super meta playstyle: hole player.

>His player skills are really good; double touch, marseille turn, one touch passing, one-touch shot (which is genuinely surprising), through passing, outside curler (fire), long-range shooting, long-range curler; basically all of the skills you'd want on any player who isn't a defender/DMF.

>His passing is superb, as he often feeds balls to my right CF, where I can just lay it up for whoever's near him -the right CF- and get an easy goal. His positioning on the pitch is also excellent for no reason at all; he's prevented at least 2 goals for me just by coming in from behind and stealing the ball, and has also made key interceptions -in the opposition's half- that have led to me scoring.

>He currently acts as a replacement for my Bellingham -who has D form- and he's genuinely 80% as good as him. I think all Bellingham has on Zielinski is player model, which is saying something.

>Overall, a really solid card to slot in at AMF/CMF if you're a new player and need people in those positions.

edit: to the guy who brought up his g/a: are u dumb. why the hell would you want your cmf to farm goals/assists

Honestly not super disappointed with these guys' stats; they'll be able to help out a good portion of the f2p/newer playerbase.

>Obviously nothing will ever top last year's 8th anniversary selection contracts, but given how bad the "1 billion downloads campaign" was, I'm relieved to see that all of these guys are actually serviceable and will be able to fit a particular niche in most people's teams, with the most important being that you get to ACTUALLY choose who you want.

>The World Cup season should bring about even better rewards than this, along with a "Treasure Link" campaign (lol), so it's NOT entirely over for the player-base in terms of free rewards. If anyone is disappointed in this campaign, then by all means feel free to feel this way until better rewards come around, but do know that we will get something next month.

>That being said, giving us 18 chance deals to pull on a dogshit fitb card -Drogba- is kind of hilarious.

edit: dude i dont understand the literacy rate of this subreddit. i'm not saying that i'm happy with these guys. i'm relieved at the fact that they're not completely useless, and that a specific group of players will be able to use them in their team. for what its worth, i got fucking peruzzi from the 1 billion campaign; no reward will ever compare to last year's 8th anniversary selection contracts. it's completely fine to dislike what i'm saying, just don't take my words out of context, or randomly associate z with x when i'm trying to correlate x with y.

>"not super disappointed" does not mean that i'm happy. the only "net positive" in rewards this year -in comparison to ef 25- was the christmas selection contract. treasure link gave us non-guaranteed epics, the 1 billion campaign gave us non-guaranteed epics, the olise/kuyt packs gave us non-guaranteed cards, etc; there's barely any comparison to make here. by no means am i trying to defend konami.

>i also just want to point out that the only reason the division rewards have gotten better this year is because of the ever-growing gap between f2p and p2w teams. this event should make a TINY dent in lowering that gap, as should be the minimum requirement of all free showtime/epic campaigns. absolutely feel free to be upset at the lack of "good" rewards this year- that is, rewards that don't require you to grind too hard. apologies for this huge -and unwanted- wall of text.

>i just don't want people thinking that i'm downplaying the things konami have done this year, or that the point of this post is to praise konami. i'm just pointing out that we've gotten the bare minimum of what is needed to make an "alright" free campaign.

brotha went from making analysis videos on yt to helping a team qualify for their first ever international event in ~1 year

his 100t application video got me interested in his content; it's been fun to see how much success he's actually had so far. really nice guy too

neon puts up a generational group stage performance in his debut season after taking on new roles

>highest k/d, highest kast, highest kpr, really good apr for someone who's just picked up smokes, highest fk:fd +/- at +18 (the second highest is valyn, at a +14); he's doing all of this while being the team's defense side igl.

>hopefully lev work on their gameplan a bit more in the few days that they have off. this guy is incredible and needs to be at an international event before the end of this year.

u/maisanskidai — 11 days ago

tex ends the group stage with some pretty asstastic stats

>lowest KAST% in the league, 2nd lowest adr (behind eggster), 4th lowest ACS (what the actual fuck lol), and has the 3rd lowest kpr in the league.

>this has gotta be a new low for him bro

>edit after 3 hours: somehow not even his worst performance of all time; tex finished with a 0.83 rating during stage 2 of last year, with literally almost the exact same stats.

>to further elaborate:

  • 0.85 rating -this stage- vs 0.83 rating
  • 158.6 ACS vs 162.1 ACS
  • 0.84 k/d vs 0.85 k/d (across more rounds though)
  • 64% KAST (below league average) vs 69% KAST (average)
  • 109.2 ADR vs 107.5 ADR (awesome he got better at something)
  • 0.58 kpr vs 0.59 kpr
  • 0.19 apr vs 0.17 apr (awesome he got better at something part 2)

fnatic have never lost a match against vitality

8-0 against vitality in series played since the start of franchising. they've only dropped a total of 3 maps across these games

>edit: sorry

u/maisanskidai — 13 days ago

yes, i am aware that this record is terrible.

>this is the first time in a while where i've genuinely struggled in my division matches, so i've decided to check just how "box-office" -entertaining- my games have been in comparison to my games in the previous 3 phases.

>total goals per game in the current phase (including goals conceded)

  • 144 goals for/against in 39 games = 3.69 goals per match

record of 17-9-13

>total goals per game during phase 9

  • 119 goals for/against in 47 games = 2.53 goals per match

record of 25-17-5

>total goals per game during phase 8

  • 83 goals for/against in 31 matches = 2.67 goals per match

record of 20-9-2

>total goals per game during phase 7

  • 99 goals for/against in 38 games = 2.60 goals per match

record of 23-8-7

>i really like stats like these, and i think this stat in particular is one of the coolest self-discoveries i've found on myself in a while. while it's easy to look at this and go "you're losing more, hence the more goals conceded," it's statistically impossible for this to be the case since only 31 of the 144 goals i've conceded have come from losses.

>my suspicion is that the engine has sped up the game again, and paired with my decision to play -during the first week of a new phase- this has made my games see way more goals than previously, making my matches pretty entertaining to sit through.

>edit: normalized my findings and got the probability of this happening to 0.001355%. the mean was (total goals)/total matches = 301/116 = 2.59....; standard deviation = 2.59/square root of 116 (total matches played). did a binomialcdf from 3.69 to infinity and got the area to be 0.00001355, which is equivalent to 0.001355%. pretty cool stuff.

u/maisanskidai — 14 days ago

>3rd in fk/fd +/- (he's at +22, behind meiy's +25 and something's +27), 3rd in total kills (with 32 less rounds played than the guy at first -meiy), highest kpr, highest acs, highest adr, joint highest kmax (with 2 more rounds played than meiy).

>fam

>This card has an insane selection of skills (he only requires like two more skills: weighted pass and first-time shot) including super-sub (literally makes him useful no matter what), has arguably the best showtime skill in the game (phenomenal passing), is either footed, has a meta playstyle, can play literally anywhere up front, and has great stat allocation; you can build him however you want and he'll serve a specific role/niche for you.

>Fam has been unbelievable for me off the bench. He does unfortunately go missing every now and then, but the engine will literally make anyone play like ass at any given moment, so I'll never blame the card. His positioning in the final third is genuinely insane. I've seen multiple guys just straight up start him instead of using his super-sub boost just because he's that good.

edit: mac allister is a decent card but olmo blows him out of the water. mac allister's showtime skill -visionary passing- is great, but isn't as useful as phenomenal passing in my opinion. additionally, not being ambidextrous is a huge blow to anyone who wants to play him since you'll need to make sure that he's making passes on his preferred foot as opposed to his weaker one; he's honestly not better than division showtime tonali imo, which is sorta depressing to say the least.

the one standout thing about macca is that he's an orchestrator with good physical contact stats.
