To the person who went alone and would not stop checking their phone at the AMC Lincoln Sq imax 4pm dubbed screening of Arrietty: are you OK?
How does one, of their own volition, buy an imax ticket to a 16 year old film with subtitles, at one of the most iconic screens in new york, but also has so little respect for film or the people in the room with you that you also had to squeeze in a couple tiktoks? Check all your text messages? Like genuinely amazed how someone could thread that particular venn diagram.
No I did not say anything, as ive learned, no matter how politely you ask other people they lash out like crazy. Dire scenes out there folks.
Arrietty amazing tho. I said dubbed but I meant subbed. Whoops!
