Looking for ideas around Laugarvatn (4x4, willing to drive 1–2 hours)
Hi everyone!
We’re currently staying in Laugarvatn and have one full day left before driving south towards Vík (and later Höfn) the following day.
Today we’ve already visited most of the classic Golden Circle sights, including Þingvellir, Geysir, and Gullfoss, so we’re looking for something a bit different.
We have a 4x4 rental and don’t mind driving 1–2 hours each way, including F-roads if they’re suitable. We’re planning to relax in one of the hot springs around Laugarvatn in the evening, so we’re mainly looking for ideas for the daytime.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
We’re happy to get off the beaten path if it’s worth it.

Welche Bekleidung für Sommer?
Hallo zusammen,
die Frage richtet sich eher an all jene Kollegen, welche in Zivil unterwegs sind. Unabhängig der Verwendung etc., wie schützt ihr euch am besten vor Sonne?
Ich bin auf der Suche nach einem langärmligen Oberteil + Kopfbedeckung. Habt ihr ein paar Vorschläge?
Ich habe an Funktionsshirts etc. gedacht, habe aber eher kein Interesse an extrem hautengen Oberteilen.
