Hello Everyone,

I would like to raise the ethanol abv% back to 200 proof to extract oils. I have 4a molecular sieves. My understanding is molecular sieve has fine powder. I need that filtered out. I have slow filters, but micron isn't low enough.

After some research I learned Diatomaceous earth filter aid is required to filter the fine powder and cost effective. I'm confused on which grade D.E. to use. Google says celite 545 works and another search says it's ineffective. Would appreciate any clarification.

Also any de product for my situation you recommend or where to get?

So I've got an issue maybe someone can help me with.

I am in unload. I noticed lower seniority unloaders staying in preload while I get sent home.

Filed a grievance on it and my shop steward said I can't bump if they are assigned a task.

So he gave the example of milking the trailer. If I'm still working on it, lower seniority gets sent to pre load to help and when I finish my trailer I get sent home and can't bump him since he was assigned the task.

Except I am one of the employees that works safe. These guys don't work safe and finish their trailers faster than I do.

I have read the contract for other issues but I don't remember no bumping being in the contract for seniority.

It just doesn't make sense that lower seniority is getting more hours and because I work safe that means I get less hours.
