My 26 weeker now 35 weeks was stable and gaining weight beautifully however his desats came back and now he is back in oxygen.Xray is good,blood report is good.Iam overwhelmed and dont kniw what to do.
My 26 weeker now 34 weeks started having desats again from last 3 days.Before this there was another episode of desats and was found it was of low hemoglobin count of 6.8.Blood transfusion stabled his desats however it started again from last 3 days although his hemoglobin is 12 and no sign of infection.Fedding is good and akso gaining weight everyday but this desats is now making me think a lot.
We are in India and hospital rules are not flexible here.We are in level 3 hospital and the treatment is very good.My son has already passed the ventilator and cpap days and now off of it for more than 2 weeks however the KMC rules are different here.My wife is already exhausted and fathers are not allowed to enter NICU facility and we cannot partner to give KMC.We end up having very little KMC hrs.Less than 5 hrs.I am worried that hr is not getti g enough KMC.
My son born in 26+4 days is in NICU.He is 31 weeks completed now and stable.He faced all micro premeise issues however everything is wrapping up now beautifully but Iam scared what future he holds.

After his birth at 26 week everything looked uphill.Although he lost few pounds vitals were stable.Everything changed after he started having unignorable episodes of bradycardia.
He was moved to ventilator which caused sepsis.
Hemoglobin dropped to 8.
Platelets dropped till 62000
Blood transfusion was administered
Report came with hope.
Hemoglobin was stable
Platelets was rising till last night and boom his right lungs colapsed due to secrition.
Stomach is bloated a little.
Now he is going through physiotherapy to extract the secrition.
We are so overehelmed with all these.Extreme fear,uncertainity of my sons future,his health.Its to much to take for us.These problems are like snowballing getting bigger by each passing day.
My Son did not need Ventilator while he was admitted to NICU however from last 4 days the bradycardia episode started and not improving.All test and brain scan is good but its not improving.Now wait and watch time period is out.He is moved to ventilator.I dont know how to process the outcome and what will happen.Anyone going thru this.
My peterm born in 26 week now in 29 week baby is having frequent drop in heart rate in NICU.Its too much to take for me.What can we expect down the line.
