Just picked this up
Ascend Zion from Cabelas $299. Thought I’d share something other than an ozark Trail. I mostly ride with the kids around the house and on gravel walking tails. The only thing it really needs is a new saddle and it’s been great!

I’m looking for a bike rack to use while towing a camper. Has anyone used this kind that clamps into the hitch? What’s your experience with them?
They seem very similar. I’m leaning to the Ascend for the bigger wheels. But does either one stand out more than the other? Anyone have experience with one? Both?
Are either of these bikes worth it? I just do some light gravel and very easy trail riding.
I grew up on Trek and Specialized bikes. Never really heard of Scott bikes. Debating between two bikes on marketplace.
Scott 970 for $300. Guy said he bought it and rode it 3 times then went to college and it’s been sitting ever since.
There’s a Trek Dual Sport 2 for $150. By the gearing looks to be Gen4 or older. Needs new tires and tubes and guy says there’s an issue with the brakes but doesn’t say what. I’m fairly mechanically inclined so if it’s a steal of a deal I’ll go for it.
I grew up riding specialized and trek bikes. I currently have an old 1999 Gary Fisher and looking to up grade. Found this on market place, I’m fairly mechanically inclined. I mostly ride around my neighborhood and some light gravel tracks. Looking for input on this marketplace find.
DESCRIPTION: “Large trek dual sport to hybrid bike. My roommate left it. I don't ride. It's got a flat tire and seems like an issue with one of the brakes. Seems like a very well built, high-end aluminum frame with cables, routed through the frame from what I found it on Google they can go for up to $400 used this one is yours for $150. Should be an easy project”
