How durable is Dilling's 100% 210gsm merino comparing to other brand's corespun blend ? I've read a lot about corespun advantages in terms of durability, but also heard about that very old school quality merino clothing, which people claimed they wore for years, and that was 100% pure merino. So what is your long-term experience with Dilling, especially underwear ?

I'm planning to buy heat moldable orthotic insoles to use with my boots with gore-tex liner. Heat molding process requires preheating the insole up to around 70 degrees celsius and putting hot insole into the shoe. Some techniques even use specialized air blowing machines to heat up the insole being inserted in the shoe, blowing the whole shoe interior with hot air. Can this process cause gore-tex degradation ?
