New Orleans Native Looking to move to Vermont in 2 years from now.

what are the big differences going from extremely south to extremely north? what struggles do you see me facing? what will be the most difficult to adjust to? what are the seasons & temperatures like? what is typical costs for living & everyday items? what is healthcare like? any and all information/advice/links/resources appreciated. i’ll be moving with my family of 4+dogs and needing a 3 bedroom house with a yard. (current set up @ 1600/month in Louisiana)
also… does the food taste good up there😭 what kind of food is popular?
