Pillars of Self

Many of us find the Law of Assumption, Neville Goddard and the whole manifestation journey at a low point in our life (including myself). And I am thankful that such circumstances had to happen to lead me to where I am now. But the journey of self realization and acceptance of our awareness/consciousness as a creator and God is not an easy one (it doesn't have to be hard) for most of us.

We come into the Law without a proper cornerstone. We dive right into manifesting our desires. We start doing SATS, affirmations, journaling and every other technique without a proper foundation. Ultimately this leads to a lot of confusion as we get successes here and there and sometimes big enough to convince us that it wasn't a coincidence but still random and without a good grasp on how we did it. And add to that the infinitely different states of consciousness we are all in at a given moment when we find the teachings. It kind of reminds me of this old picture where different animals are lined up, including a monkey and a fish, and are tasked to climb a tree.

So I would like to outline some core areas of our consciousness that we as conscious creators have to hone to become master manifestors. This is not to add another limitation on any of you but simply to avoid the situation outlined above of the monkey and the fish.

What I feel as the most important aspects, I am mentioning first but I leave it up to you to decide what is important for you.

Forgiveness

As I mentioned earlier, most of us find the law during a hard time, at a time when we are down, hurt, grieving, hopeless etc. For anyone starting with the Law I would recommend to first practice forgiveness. Forgive yourself first and foremost. Forgive yourself for unknowingly falling into the unlovely states. Be kind to yourself.

Then forgive the people in your life who brought upon hurt or sadness. Understand that they are not the cause. Forgive them for playing out the states you have unknowingly put them into. Forgive yourself for putting them into those states.

Actively practice this multiple times a day. Specially when our desire revolves around people.

Use practices like the Sedona method, EFT Tapping, journaling to say your peace to the old versions of you and them and let them go. Then welcome the ideal versions of you and them.

Gratitude

We tend to forget how blessed we are. We forget to see all the things we are supposed to be thankful for but instead only see the lack in our lives. Of course we want our lives to be even better but forgetting all the things to be thankful for, to forget all the things that are bountiful in our lives is to again live a in a state of lack.

Thank your higher self for saying yes to you every time. Be thankful that you woke up, that you can breathe, to sleep, to have friends and family, to eat, to see, to hear etc. You can always find something to be thankful for. Be thankful for the things you don't even have and the law will provide you that to experience.

Say 'Thank you!' multiple times a day if you are too overwhelmed for anything else. "Thank you for fulfilling all my desires!", "Thank you for saying 'yes' to me every time!"

Self-Love

One of the most overlooked factor when we find ourselves with this world of manifestation. We practice manifestation without ever truly loving ourselves. We hold onto all the hurt and sadness, of all the unfair things that has happened to us and find ourselves in a state a hatred(?) for self, self-pity, hopelessness etc.

Focus on loving yourself. Talk to your inner child. Shower him/her with love. Bring them into your awareness and hold them, tell them that you will love them no matter what. You will always be there for them, make them feel safe and secure, never forget them etc. And keep your word! Return to that inner child everyday for most of us have neglected ourselves for all our lives.

Bring into your awareness also all the past versions of yourself. Thank them for being so strong, for being courageous, to have persisted through all the hardships, to have had faith, for without them, you now wouldn't exist. Bring the version of yourself from yesterday and do the same. Thank them for being so strong.

Welcome your future self into your awareness. See them with all the blessings, all the desires already fulfilled. They are you. Thank them. Integrate with them in you awareness and be them now.

Self-Concept

How you think about yourself is what the law says yes to.

Concept of self not only includes our own self concept but also the concept of others (people, things etc) in our awareness. That is to say, self concept includes how we see ourselves and how we see others (which version of them are you bringing into your awareness?)

Think lovely things about yourself, think highly of yourself, think always in your favor. Welcome into your awareness the ideal version of yourself. Get into his shoes and feel how it would feel like. And then stay in his shoes.

Think also lovely things about others, think highly of them. Welcome into your awareness the ideal version of them and accept them into your awareness.

Practice bringing versions of you and them into your awareness and integrate with these identities or let them go if they are the versions you do not desire. Do this lovingly.

Faith and Understanding of the Law

Another core aspect of being a master manifestor, which most of us do when a desire comes to us first is to logically dissect the law. Our logical minds need to understand how all this works. Make this make sense.

Understanding the law is important. Educate yourselves about the law. There are too many of us who don't educate ourselves and jump into manifestation as a magic trick. It is magical but it is not a get rich quick scheme.

It is a shift in your identity, a shift in your state of being.

Educating ourselves endlessly is not the answer. Our logical mind probably will never be satisfied. This is where faith in the law and practice comes into play. There is no better teacher than experience. Endlessly watching videos, reading success stories, asking what you did, what he did, what she did is not going to help you. At some point, the faith and motivation you seek from the external through the videos, the posts and stories have to come from within.

Start practicing the law, have faith in it as in this is how it works and find your own path.

And one thing I have noticed is that you can always ask your higher self for guidance. There is no better coach than your higher self. Your higher self knows everything. It is his own will to see you succeed. That is his goal!

Everytime I feel stuck with something, when I feel doubt or worry, I ask him for guidance and clarity. I ask for strength, for courage and then thank him for providing it because it is in his best interest for me to achieve all my desires. And I am led to sources or things that are necessary for my inner or outer growth. I find posts that suddenly click, I am able to find ideas that helps me progress my inner state etc.

Desire and Persistance

Most of us start of here and then slowly find ourselves going back.

Your desires are a gift from your higher self. It is a reminder for you to step into that state and claim what has always been yours. No desire is wrong or unworthy.

We are also told to persist in our desires till it manifests in our reality.

But without the other fundamentals this whole process of manifestation just boils down to repeating a technique and it will magically show up. Just decide. Technically the truth.

Then starts all the questions.

I have been persisting for so long, circumstances, how to get rid of the anxiousness, fear, doubt, anger etc?, how to remain in the state? which technique to do? what is your process? does this work? and possibly a million more.

The answer to most of these questions will boil down to working on one of the above aspects or maybe multiple of the above aspects. Again I do not mean this as a limitation. 'Now I need to do all this to manifest! No, you are whole as you are. We just need to realize that and work on some aspects of ourself. This is also not a one time thing. It is a daily, life long practice to not forget who we truly are. And not just when we are doing the techniques.

Your true self is love. Your true self knows only forgiveness, kindness, gratitude, courage, faith, hope, and love. Step into his identity.

If you are practicing all of the above on a daily basis, you are sure to see definite, measurable changes of your inner state of consciousness. And what was the secret to manifestation again?

Pouring new wine into old wineskins

Neville teaches us that we do not get what we want, we get what we are conscious of being. The world reflects the state we occupy. To change our world, we have to change Self.

But sometimes we try to step into a new identity while still emotionally identifying with the old one. Many of us try to assume a new state while still emotionally identifying with the old one. We affirm that we are loved while still carrying resentment. We imagine wealth while still identifying as someone who struggles. We imagine reconciliation while still replaying memories of hurt.

Sometimes the old identity simply needs to be released before the new one can feel natural.

This could happen naturally when we keep persisting in the techniques. As we do SATS, affirm etc., we are transforming ourselves. But what do we do when the old identity is just too stubborn?

One practice that has helped me immensely is first letting go of the old identity and then immediately welcoming the new one.

I'm not going into the details of the technique here since I already made a separate post explaining it, which you can find on my profile if you're interested.

The important part is how we apply it to manifestation.

Do this ideally in a meditative state.

Example 1

If you're manifesting a job but keep feeling anxious or insecure, instead of fighting those feelings or pretending they aren't there, allow them into your awareness and gently invite them to leave.

Could I welcome this feeling of anxiousness?

Could I let it go?

Would I let it go?

When?

Once the old state starts losing its grip, immediately welcome the new one.

Welcome the feeling of confidence, security, abundance or whatever you want the new identity to have. Welcome the identity of someone who already has the job.

Could I welcome this feeling of confidence/safety/security/wealth?

Could I let it in ?

Would I let it in ?

When?

The same applies when manifesting a person or changing a relationship.

Sometimes there is so much emotional attachment to the old story (anger, sadness, grief, betrayal, hopelessness) that it becomes difficult to genuinely occupy the new state.

Instead of forcing yourself to ignore those emotions, allow yourself to release the old version of them that exists within your consciousness.

Then immediately welcome the version of them who is loving, kind, understanding, accepting, committed, at peace with themselves , devoid of anger, unafraid of love, ready to love and be loved etc.

More importantly, welcome the version of yourself who naturally experiences that relationship.

Do this for both the identity of them and you. Let go of the old and welcome the new. Same as in the previous example.

We're not trying to change another person.

We're letting go of the old state we've been occupying and entering a new one.

I have personally found that releasing the old state first and then immediately stepping into the new identity makes it much easier to remain faithful to the wish fulfilled, especially when there is a lot of emotional history attached to the situation.

Whether it's resentment, fear, anxiousness, guilt or hopelessness, those emotions belong to the old self.

They don't have to come with us.

Let the old identity go. You have to!

And welcome the new one.

We can't pour new wine into old wineskins.

Letting Go & Letting In - Using the Sedona Method for Manifesting

The Sedona method is a popular technique which can be used to 'let go' of past traumas, emotions, memories and since we are in a manifesting community, identity/states.

I would like to discuss in this post how this method can be used to both let go of old identities and let in the new identities.

How does it work?

The core of the method involves recognizing an unwanted feeling (emotion//memory/identity/states)and gently letting it go by asking yourself a series of simple questions.

  • Could I welcome this feeling? (Into your awareness? Yes/No)
  • Could you let it go? (Do you have the ability to drop it? Yes/No)
  • Would you let it go? (Are you willing to let it go? Yes/No)
  • When? (An invitation to choose to release it right now.)

You can repeat these questions until the emotion dissipates, or choose alternative approaches, such as simply welcoming the feeling and allowing it to be without judgment. The ultimate goal is to stop identifying with your feelings so you can experience inner peace and act without internal obstacles.

If the answer to any of this is 'No', that is completely fine. Allow the resistance. Sit with it and do the same with the resistance. Go deeper to the root of it till you get a yes.

This is the gist of it. You can replace the feeling with a memory an emotion, a circumstance, an identity, a state etc. Please read upon the Sedona Method to know more.

Since all emotions/memories/feelings are attached to an identity or a state, you can focus on individual emotions or the whole identity.

Example 1: Anxious over getting a job

  • Could I welcome this feeling of anxiousness?
  • Could I let it go?
  • Would I let it go?
  • When?

Example 2: Resentment over a situation/person etc?

  • Could I welcome this feeling of anger?/ Could I welcome this version of them that hurt me?
  • Could I let this version of them go?
  • Would I let it go?
  • When?

Effectively you can use this for any situation, any emotion etc until you start feeling better. Do it as many times as it takes.

Letting In

Traditionally Sedona Method is used to let go but we could effectively use the same steps to let a new feeling/emotion/memory/identity/state in.

How does it work?

Let's work with the same examples as above.

Example 1: Anxious over getting a job

Now we do not want to let anxiousness in again. What do we want? Could be feelings/emotions/identity of confidence/safety/security/wealth etc

You can bring in individual emotion/feeling or the whole identity/state as you like.

  • Could I welcome this feeling of confidence/safety/security/wealth? Yes/No
  • Could I let it in ? Yes/No
  • Would I let it in ? Yes/No
  • When? (Invitation to let it in)

Example 2: Resentment over a situation/person etc?

Now we need to bring in the situation/version of the person who is loving/understanding/kind/forgiving/accepting etc

  • Could I welcome this version/identity of them? Yes/No
  • Could I let them in ? Yes/No
  • Would I let them in ? Yes/No
  • When? (Invitation to let it in)

Invite every feeling, be it good or bad into your awareness. Sit with it. Choose to let it go or let it in. Give no resistance to it.

I have noticed letting the desired outcome in right after you let the undesired outcome go works really well.

Be kind to yourself. Keep practicing, as long as it takes.

To be in peace, to be loved, to be happy is our divine birthright.

The Law always says Yes!

Whatever YOU assume to be true, is true.

There is no one out there deciding if you are worthy of your desires.

The Law is impartial. It has no mind of its own

YOU are the Source. YOU are the creative power. The Law is YOU.

We all know these statements and the premise behind the Law and how manifestation works but this post will be about what actually is happening when we are working with this law. How do you operate the law correctly?

Basic Premise

The source of creation is our imagination. Imagination includes not only our imaginal activity/scenes but also the thoughts we have, the stories and concepts we hold about ourselves, others, other things etc. Our imagination is working all the time. It is creating all the time and not just when we do the techniques.

The law doesn't question what we imagine. We are free to imagine the lovely things and the unlovely things and everything in between and to whatever we agree to, that is created.

Accepting as true/Agreeing/Saying Yes

Whatever you are imagining, thinking, and running through your mind all day, YOU have the choice to agree or disagree with.

For. e.g. you think in your mind, you don't have enough money to pay the bill, YOU are agreeing to that state.

You think I am never late. You are agreeing to it.

You run an argument you had with your friend in your mind. You are saying, 'yes that's what happened'. You are agreeing to it.

You imagine getting admitted to the university of your choice. You are agreeing to it.

Your bf/gf doesn't text you and you think they don't care enough about you. YOU are agreeing to it.

You say 'I AM loved'. You are agreeing to it.

YOU (Source/operant power/ The Law/GOD) are always agreeing, saying YES to whatever imaginal activity, scene, scenarios, thoughts, affirmations etc that is running through your mind. Unless YOU consciously choose to disagree with it or revise it. Then whatever you have now revised to is the new truth.

The Law always says YES

I would ask everyone practicing the Law to try this exercise. This has helped me immensely to understand the Law and understand what I have been doing 'wrong' or where I have been 'failing' with the Law (I put wrong and failure in quotes because in truth, there is nothing wrong we can do and there is no failure).

The Exercise

Observe your thoughts, observe every imaginal scene, every mental conversation you have, everything you are saying inwardly and outwardly and then imagine saying YES at the end of each of those thoughts, scenes, conversations etc.

E.g. you think to yourself, 'Today is such a nice day!' End this thought with YES! I imagine my higher self (which is also me) agreeing with what I just thought.

You think to yourself, 'I have been doing SATS for so long now but nothing is changing in my 3D!' Imagine your higher self saying agreeing and saying YES!

You are running through your mind how that colleague disrespected you yesterday at the office or made that off-handed joke and embarrassed you. Follow it up with YES!

The Law = YOU is always saying YES to whatever you are imagining in your mind unless you actively choose to revise it, then the revised scene is the truth because the LAW always says YES!

Practice saying Yes at the end of every mental conversation you have and you will quickly come to realize where you have been 'failing' with the Law.

Revision

The reason why Neville said if there is only one technique he would ask us to practice, it would be revision is because the LAW is always saying YES and unless you actively choose to revise the unwanted scenarios or situations that has happened to you, your higher self, the LAW has just accepted that as your truth.

So I urge you to practice revision.

Taking the example of the colleague that embarrassed you at the office. You are thinking about what happened but you revise it, "No, that's not how it went, it went like this..." And the Law says, "YES that's how it went".

Convincing your Sub-conscious/Just Deciding

The Law has agreed to you the very first time you thought about what you desired. It has agreed to you the very first time the thought ran through your mind, it has agreed to you when you spoke the words from your mouth the first time and every single time after that.

There is no one to convince because the Law has already said YES to you. The only one that needs 'convincing' is YOU. Or better put, YOU need to have faith in the LAW, in yourself that this is how the Law works.

Every desire you have is your diving inheritance. This is your father's kingdom and everything here is yours by right.

This is also why sometimes when you think of something once, it manifests. The Law agreed to you the first time you asked of it and you didn't contradict it. If you had contradicted your desire with something else, the Law would have, without question, said YES to that as well.

I am going to end this post asking all of you to be kind to yourself while practicing the law. Say only lovely things, think only lovely thoughts for yourself and for others. Revise the unlovely thoughts or situations because the Law is always saying YES!
