If the show hadn't been cancelled, how do you think season four would have been?
reddit.com(respost) As someone who is a fan of all three series, I was frustrated that both had such disappointing endings.
I just wanted to say that I'm reposting this because the title of my previous post was somewhat offensive, even unintentionally.
Stranger Things: I think it's by far the worst on the list. You know, the biggest problem with the season itself was that they never properly used the cliffhanger that season 4 left, with Hawkins being destroyed vecna He was supposed to be a villain who brings risk, fear, and danger, but he fails to do so because he can't kill any of the main characters, not even indirectly They turned him into a pathetic villain, and adding that to the fact that only one character died and an extremely weak final episode ruined an already ruined season.
The Boys: Just like Stranger Things had a cliffhanger at the end of season 4, but it managed to use it a little better, though not very well to be honest The Soldier Boy character was ruined here by having a crush on Stormfront that didn't exist in season 3, plus they wasted 2-3 episodes on filler The end of season 4 makes it seem like the supers were going to take over all of America, but that didn't happen, not even close, at most in the final episode Another thing I really hated was that they titled episode 7 "The Woman, the Frenchman, and the Man Called Milk" only for one of them to die in the end Furthermore, Soldier Boy didn't even appear in episode 8, which is clearly just to give his story a conclusion in his spin-off, like Better Call Saul
Squid Game: Even though the ending is much, much better than both, I still find it disappointing. The detective is completely useless. Gi-Hun's conclusion was cool, yes, but it doesn't change the fact that The ending was disappointing, and there's still going to be that American spin-off.
