Hey everyone,

I’m deciding between the LG C5 and LG G5, both in 55 inch. The price difference where I live is only around €200-250 in Germany (800€ vs 1050€), so I’m leaning toward the G5, but I’d like some advice from people who have seen them or owned similar LG OLEDs. My living room is brighter but not too bright and no direct sunlight where the TV will sit.

My main questions:

1. Is the G5 picture quality noticeably better than the C5 in real-world use? I know the G5 gets brighter and should have better HDR impact, but I’m wondering if it’s actually obvious in normal movies, streaming, sports, and gaming.
2. At only €200-250 more, would you just buy the G5? Or is the C5 still the smarter buy because the difference is not huge at 55"?

Use case:

• Streaming with 4K HDR
• Some gaming
• Mixed daytime and evening viewing
• I care about picture quality, but I also want good value

Any advice would be appreciated, especially from people who compared the C/G series and use a 55" OLED
