Is Medellin actually cooked?

Me: 25M/white/5'10/speaks Spanish

I get pretty consistent dates in the US on hinge, but I ran a fresh dating app profile for 2 weeks in Medellin (1 week ahead and 1 week there) as a test, and these were my stats I just pulled from the profile data request:

Outgoing "yes": 383

Outgoing "no": 583

Incoming "yes": 324

Incoming "no": 1524

With this I had probably 100 matches and 3 dates, 2 of which I invited straight over and hooked up with. Normal girls, no $, no scolp/robbing/anything like that. I only had a week but if I had more time, I no doubt I could have met a lot more women.

To be fair, the super hot ones I did match with would filter me out pretty quick and ask "are you on vacation"/"do you live here". Totally valid, too. I only wanted to mess with girls who were on the same page as I. That said I have no doubt if I was living there that I could pull even hotter girls who are looking for something long term. Also, I don't think a 9 or 10 anywhere in the world is going to come straight over and be dtf.

This leads me to my point: why did I hear Medellin is cooked? I'm pretty happy with my time there, but could I have had even better results elsewhere? I wanted to visit beyond just pulling girls, but it makes me feel like the dudes complaining are the ones who get no play at home anyway. Or that I missed the golden age and it could have been even better?
