Should I be worried? Study Permit for Fall 26'
For some context, I've got a full-ride offer from UofT, and apart from that, I've shown finances in excess (about $CAD9,000 higher than the $CAD22,895 required), and applied on 04/16/26, and it's 05/21/26 (35 days to be exact), and I still haven't gotten a notification for a medical exam (yes it's required where i've applied from), moreover, the approximate time to get a decision in my country is 8 weeks, of which 21 days are left, and according to other fellow applicants they usually get their medical appointment within 2/3 weeks of applying.
The reason I'm worried is that last year I applied for a tourist visa for a summer program I had gotten into that got rejected for the following reasons: 1. Don't think you will leave Canada & 2. Reason for a trv doesn't align with reason of visit 3. Too many ties to Canada
I've sufficiently covered all 3 things, but still haven't gotten any responses from IRCC, so, should I be worried or not? Are they any helplines/status-check methods that I can tap into?
