Everyone says corrupt cops, politicians, govt officials, rowdies, judges, IAS, IPS folks wash black money and bribes to white using real estate. But for buying even above Rs 50 Lakhs, you need TDS and with stamp registration as well, you cant hide anything. So how do they do it?

Whenever you hear an argument as to why RE prices in India are sky high, one of the top reasons given is that all the corrupt people netas and cops etc wash their bribes and black money into real estate.

But when you want to buy even a small apartment, even if you are paying a portion in cash or even full in cash you have to submit the PAN and TDS gets deducted, moreover on registration as well there are records created. So how exactly do the corrupt people wash their black money into real estate?

How is USDC received by freelancer taxed in India? At VDA 30% rate or as 44ADA freelancer professional tax rate?

A person is receiving USDC for freelance software development work from a company in USA. Its a one time payment but moderate size (around 50 lakhs). On receipt, the amount USDC is fully sold into INR and not retained in USDC, INR is immediately withdrawn to bank account. How is the taxation for this to be done? In their ITR, the person has other professional services income under 44 ADA + house rent income etc

Should it be taxed at 30% VDA rate or should it be taxed along with with professional income as per Section 44 ADA? Should this USDC be disclosed as VDA and should TDS must be deducted in the name of the US company that is paying them? If their entire amount of earnings crosses 44 ADA limit (Rs 75 lakhs) due to this transaction will there be any difference?

If there is a verified answer please share i.e. process that is approved by IT dept/CIT/ITAT etc. I dont want to do one thing and then end up with ITR revision or adjustment proceedings and appeals.

Where to get actual registration data of projects (new, resale price etc). Zapkey hasnt updated registration data for many projects since 2025. Paid access to data is also fine...

For example Prestige Jindal City shows last sale in Dec 2025. I find it hard to believe a 3500 unit society hasnt had a single sale in 2026

Similarly for almost all societies it shows just 2025 data, which is way outdated for the fast moving real estate market of Bangalore

So where can I get actual data ? Dont mind paying. I couldnt find actual search or sale data on Kaveri website even after registering there

Nobroker is a total scam. Both for find a tenant and in resale property search

These guys are a total joke.

I am trying to use both their find a tenant package as well as trying to shortlist properties to purchase. For both, the service is nothing short of nonsense. I will share both...

In my attempt to find a tenant, I posted an ad and got on one of the plans, and for over a month they havent managed to find a tenant. This is one of a large township with several offices nearby and so many rentals are happening all the time. I had absolutely no clue what these idiots were doing, till I got an email from a prospective tenant that they are trying to reach out to me and the calls arent going through. Now I have taken the relationship manager plan and this is how they manage this - by not even attending the calls from prospective tenants.

And this same thing continues for shortlisting properties for buying as well. I shortlisted some properties but none of the numbers are going through. The numbers given are Nobroker's own RMs and they dont give a fuck apparently. You shortlist some properties and you are not even able to reach out to the owners.

The only thing this scam company cares about is users making the fee payment to get onto a plan, after which they basically ghost you and the services are so lacking and deficient.

Civil suit filed against me. I did not file written statement in 90 days so now judge has marked the WS as forfeited. What are my options to save the case?

A civil suit has been filed against me. I appointed advocate, and was following the case closely but the judge got transferred last year and court was vacant, the CCH was allotted to another judge in same City Civil court but every hearing was pushed and new date given tarik pe tarik treatment. Suddenly last month a new judge was appointed to that court and immediately case came up and the judge marked defendant adv not present, WS not filed in 90 days, defendant forfeited the written statement opportunity. Call next date for plaintiff evidence.
I told my advocate to file the rejection of plaint long ago but they didnt file that nor did they file WS.

Now what are my options to save the case? In my view of the case if rejection was filed before the WS, then judge is required to pass order on rejection IA, then WS was not required. But now the opportunity has been forfeit.
Can the WS still be filed somehow? Will court being vacant and tarik pe tarik dates given be used as an excuse?
