EIN unfound?

Has anyone else had an issue with a newer nonprofit with an EIN that can't be found? We got our EIN 7 months ago, and got our 501(c)(3) a few weeks ago. This is a problem we've had since the beginning. When applying for things where we have to enter our EIN, it says there is no organization matching that number, so then I would manually enter everything and upload documents to support. Our lawyer thought that would only be an issue until our IRS letter came through. Now that it's come through I am applying for grants like crazy and still encountering that same issue! I'm worried if this will affect any of our chances for funding. I did reach out to our lawyer again but haven't heard back yet. Just curious if this has happened to anyone else and what the outcome was!

Seeking Harmony Tips

I've been singing almost all my life, but I've only ever sang melody. In various church choirs and such, I've never had a part other than melody. I sort of span across alto/soprano. Well a couple months ago I auditioned for a spot in the worship band at my church and I got it! However I'm struggling so hard with the harmony parts. We don't have regular rehearsals other than a quick run through an hour before church. I get three songs about 5 days in advance to learn. Most of them are songs I either know well or I'm at least familiar with.

When I pull up the harmony parts, I can learn the parts and feel confident singing the harmony on my own or just with the band's backup music. However when I add the lead vocals back in and try to sing the harmony, I almost always fall back into the melody and I struggle with separating and finding my notes above or below the melody. Tutorials on YouTube are not really helping me at this point... What do you recommend? How do I get better at this? I've been at it for several months already and I feel like I've made no progress. I was told it's ok to double up on melody so I'm not in trouble or at risk of losing my spot in the band, but I also feel like I'm not contributing as much and I really want to get better at this for myself too!
