pink wax --> plum, any dye suggestions

I have this grande with pink wax and am looking to make it dark purple/plum or a dark burgundy red.
I really like the plum grande that Lava Mods made on yt (dnol4444 on reddit) and am using this as a reference point.
I know many wax dyes just end up sucking for lava lamps so I was wondering if anyone had specific recommendations for dyes that could get me this schilling pink -->plum/burgundy
any efforts/thoughts appreciated!

Collectors' Choice Music Grande Lamp

I usually h8 advertisement but i was very satisfied with my order from Collectors' Choice Music and theyre small so i figured I could tell you guys. Im mostly happy because shipping was free and they had a little sale going on so my order total was around $125 total for a grande lamp.
The lamp also arrived within a week (im in the US) which made me very happy.
CC music doesnt control this at all but this is also the first grade ive seen that isnt cloudy to shit. I added some photos of the lamp. I wish my camera was different so the colors would show.

i viciously took apart a glitter lamp

i very violently took apart this poor glitter lamp so i could use the globe for a diy wax lamp. I figured someone would be curious on what these are like taken apart. some info:

  1. the top cap and base are glued to the globe (pmo >:( ), i couldnt really a gr8 way to take them off other than cutting away the plastic

  2. the cap had a little piece of rubber as the seal

  3. there is a little plastic half-sphere at the bottom that makes everything spin. im pretty sure it has magnets inside for the ability to be controlled through the glass

  4. the base had a capacitor, switch, and power source (4th image)

  5. the contraption that has lights also has a little metal thing in the middle that magnetizes and helps spin the half-sphere (idk im not a mad scientist). there is a motor underneath that spins it.

  6. the plastic glitter stars were all at the bottom of the globe, but after i transfered the contents to a spare bottle they all stayed at the top; dk wut thats all abt.

i dont really care for the glitter lamps so i didnt put in a crazy amount of effort into this, but i found it interesting and figured someone else on this sub would too.

tutorial for adjusting wax density?

Im making diy wax and I generally have the ratio down but need to do adjusting to each batch. so far my methods have been:

  1. add perc via syringe (photo)
  2. take apart the contents, melt the wax, and add what i need.

I dont really like either of these methods.

the syringe method kind of just makes one blob of wax go down and then it either gets tangled in the coil or it comes right back up and never seems to truly mix enough to get any flow.

the while melting the wax method takes a lot of time and doesn't let me have as much precision because some of the perc inevitably burns away.

are there any good methods for adjusting wax? any tutorials to suggest?

make glitter lamp --> lava lamp? Lava Lite Vortex

https://preview.redd.it/bth0ik3ziy5h1.jpg?width=2268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=67f3a9ce5ec564fedbd9f485a69879e3e000c63a

I got this lava lite llc vortex glitter lamp with the idea of using the globe for a lava lamp. I knew nothing about glitter lamps and don't particularly care for them. turns out the globe is attached to the base.
is it even worth taking apart? im worried the globe might not be made with the same heat-resistant glass that lava lamps are.
any suggestions on how to take this apart?
