Building a guitar - can someone confirm this is all compatible?
My son (15) would like to build his first guitar and I want to support that, but want to make sure that what he found will fit together without alterations. I was hoping someone with experience could confirm if this looks good / things I need to ask the selllers so I don't end up buying these parts with no way to build this. Appreciate everyone taking the time to read and answer this!
Below are the specs I took from each product's website
Neck
- 25.5" scale
- 43mm nut
- 55.5–56.5mm heel width
- 9.5" radius
- 10mm tuner holes
- Stainless frets
Body
- Ash “Frankenstrat” body
- Strat-style
- Floyd Rose top-mount route
- 25.5" scale compatible
- SSH routing
Tremolo
- Floyd Rose 1000 Series style
- 12" bridge radius
Pickup
- EVH Frankenstein Humbucker
I ran this through ChatGPT which raised a number of concerns:
Body / Neck compatibility may be off
Neck vs Floyd radius is off (9.5" vs 12")
Verify that neck supports locking Floyd cut
