Anyone interested in a watch party?
Putting the finishing touches to a watch party app, with a few other bits thrown in like trakt integration and playlist management, send missing items to radarr ( damn it, suppose sonarr needs to be there also, forgot)!
Right now I have it running on docker on an upgraded gen 8 microserver running xpenology (xeon cpu) and it uses virtually 0 processing power.
The basic function is, the control user chooses something to watch, creates a party, another user of the same emby server joins on a link, joins party, select the devices to play on and it plays..
The initial sync is a bit off, I have been testing on local device and a iphine connewcted to 5G. So the sync issue is fixed with a seek to 1:00 and the sync is about 100 to 200ms off.
Pause/Play/Seek and end (end party closes player down on all devices).
Chat room is a work in progress, can send chats but the socket is refusing them.. Eyes are bulging looking at a screen lol..
I'm not going to make a docker image. I'll upload it to git.
Logins/api/client ids etc will be through a .env file. Although I'm thinking about changing that to encrpyted after initial login and stored to the database.
