Hot Take: People spending five figures on a watch and then justifying it online are some of the most insecure people around.

If you Royal Perpetual Datejust that you just spent $400,000 is the type of thing that brings you joy and you have the money for it, go ahead and enjoy your life. I'm sure it has better finishing and a richer history behind it than a Timex or Casio quartz beater. It could be a cherished family heirloom. You wouldn't look out of place at a state dinner. It is absolutely god-tier jewelry, as it looks pretty and can tell time, too!

But the guy that has a $100 G-Shock has a better watch than you do. And that's okay. You don't have to "win" everything, and claiming that your expensive jewelry is a better watch is disingenuous, and makes you look so incredibly insecure.

Any thoughts on recent U.S. government UAP/UFO disclosufe?

I see lots of politics here, and I get it. It's important. But maybe we can step away a bit and talk about the recent release of alien/UFO/UAP/whatever-you-want-to-call-it files by the U.S. federal government. Any thoughts on how it might (or might not) change how we view humanity, ourselves, science, anything at all?
