Hi there !

Is there a way to search/find every black&white photo in my library ? I didn't tag the photo, so I am looking for a feature that "read/scan" the photo and classifies it as B&W/Color.

Not necessarily using digikam. Could be using external tools on linux, iterating over a folder using bash...

I've tried to use metadata (EXIF/IPTC) but there is nothing that could identify a photo as B&W or color.

Any ideas ?

After a power failure was restored, my kde desktop space lost all customization: icons and widgets, the bottom bar (bottom panel) from left monitor was moved to the right monitor and the one originally on the right was moved to the left (swapped positions) , a complete mess and loss !

Fortunately I had automatic snapshots configured hourly on /home !

snapper -c home undochanges 6364..0 restored my home to what it was 1 hour later. I was playing Civ VII on steam, so no critical files was edited today, but I could run snapper status 6364..0 to make sure.

after the "rollback" I started KDE again and voilá, everything is how it supposed to be.

I praise for the existence of BTRFS snapshots. A regular backup wouldn't saved me from this situation. (I make regular borg backups once a week, sort of...)
