"I never have any normal friends"

Edit: It's fans, of course, not friends.

As some of you may already know, I recently started watching Criminal Minds and I’m absolutely obsessed with Spencer (surprise...)

He said this a few episodes ago, but I can’t stop thinking about it. Simply because the topic has come up quite often, of course, and Reid has struggled with it himself (when it came to the boy and his violent fantasies involving prostitutes). When you think about everything Spencer has already been through at such a young age, and the burdens he has to carry... That must be an incredibly painful and heart-wrenching thought. Every time he deals with cases like this, he’s reminded that he could have ended up that way too. And the question of whether that might still happen hangs emotionally in the air for him.

I’m very curious to see if there will be further plot developments in that regard.

Character Concept Spencer Reid

After never seeing Criminal Minds but stumbling over a few snippets on Social Media I finally decided to start the series. And I can't help myself...

I am utterly in love with the character concept of Spencer Reid. I know there might be many out there who feel that way but seriously?! Even the first couple episodes are just heartwarming to watch. The combination of a sharp mind and an almost pure behaviour (in lack of better words) is so fantastic to watch.

The hostage situation with Elle at the train. Or the moment were he has to talk in front of the students because they are 'his age'. Or the moment with the actress in the pool. But also when he keeps analyzing. And getting something wrong. He was never angry about losing at chess. He was always eager and happy to learn something new. This is so refreshing to watch.

I just had to get that out of the system.. 😅

I hope I don't get a major character swap that doesn't make any sense. It's only 18 seasons to go. 😅
