The Scrambler 900 makes familiar roads feel new again

There is something wonderfully uncomplicated about the Scrambler 900. You get on, start the engine, and soon find yourself looking for an excuse not to go home.

It has enough torque to make every road interesting, but it never seems to be asking you to prove anything. I like that. You can ride slowly, look around, take a road simply because you have never taken it before.

And then there is the curious effect it has on other people. At traffic lights, outside cafés, at gas stations, people look at it. Some come closer. A few ask questions. It is not an extravagant motorcycle, which perhaps explains why the attention is so interesting.

After more than twenty years away from motorcycles, I had forgotten how a machine can change the way you experience a familiar place. The Scrambler is already doing that for me.

Back on two wheels after 20+ years — meet Elizabeth

After more than 20 years away from motorcycles, I’m finally back on two wheels.

After months of research, I chose the Scrambler 900 and I already feel like I made the right choice.

On my very first morning with her, I woke up early and ended up riding 100 km around Florianópolis, the island where I live in southern Brazil. No particular destination. Just riding, stopping here and there, and remembering how incredible it feels to be on a motorcycle again.

I named her Elizabeth.

Do you guys name your bikes too? And if so, what’s your Scrambler called?

Greetings from Brazil! 🇧🇷
