I am heavily considering studying medicine in Europe (preferably Spain, UK or Italy) but already have a degree from an American university with some pre medical courses. Does anyone know how easy it is to transfer credits from an American system school to the European ones?

I am currently pursuing a post-bacc in the US, but have been heavily considering pursuing medical school abroad as I would like to live abroad and do not want to take on the debt of medical school in the United States as I am not even sure if I want to practice here full-time.
I don't seek to go into a competitive specialty (mainly considering IM or EM) so if I decide to do residency in the US it wouldn't be as bad.
I would like to know if there are schools that would be willing to accept some of the credits I already accomplished while in undergrad. I was mainly thinking of Italy as they have some programs in English, but I am open to anywhere (Mexico and Spain are also on my list).
I would really appreciate some insight as to what to look for when choosing where to apply, as I feel like I am running out of time.

I am curious as to how feasible and comfortable it would be to live in San Diego without personal car. Is public transport reliable enough and would an electric bicycle be a sufficient supplement, or should one really consider purchasing a car if they want to live there?
