Ventured into the Newark Super Group. Found some Upper Triassic aged fossils from the Lockatong Formation in SE Pennsylvania. Specifically Conchostracan, or Clam Shrimp. These are bivalved crustaceans that lived in a freshwater environment. Also included a couple photos of non-fossilized animals spotted on the trip.

Few feathers I’ve seen around my yard. Close-ups of each if you scrolls through the photos.
I believe example with the B&W checkered pattern on the barbs going down the right side is a Downy Woodpecker. Second one may be a pigeon?
Found in the Kirkwood Formation (lower-middle Miocene) in New Jersey. Was suggested it may be Prosynthetoceras. Would appreciate any opinions.
Added several photos from different angles under different light.
Thanks in advance!
Some finds from a recent trip to a local Devonian spot in east-central Pennsylvania. Nice mix of marine invertebrates. Highlight for me was a couple of straight-shelled cephalopods and a nice enrolled Greenops boothi. Thanks for looking!
