Edit Credit/ Chase Hotel Credit usage on IHG Intercontinental San Diego and FontaineBleau Las Vegas

Alright guys,

I booked two separate trips. One at the Intercontinental San Diego and One at FontaineBleau in Vegas.

I’m getting conflicting information from Chase Travel and the actual hotels.

Intercontinental San Diego states that the resort fee is covered by The Edit booking. I called chase and the lady stated there are NO RESORT fees at all at the location. So I’m confused.

And then comes Las Vegas…

Fontainebleau states that we will be charged a 50 dollar resort fee per night IN ADDITION to what we already paid through EDIT/ Chase.

The bookings for Edit/ Chase state all taxes and fees included. I looked on here and saw people had different experiences in the past. Anyone recently stay at these properties?

Not sure if I used the right tag. It is regarding rewards :)

Details on booking:
Fontainebleau Las Vegas: 2 night stay 479. RESORT FEE is 50/night.

So $579 total.

Includes:
$70 daily breakfast credit…. So $140 for the stay.

$100 dining credit that can be used at any restaurant in the hotel.

$25 Welcome amenity that can be used on beverages at any restaurant/ bar at the hotel.

$579-$250= 329 TOTAL.

Direct booking:
$345.80 for just the room/ taxes/ INCLUDING resort fee. With the California deal they have right now. No food/ drink credits.

Intercontinental San Diego:
2 night stay for 990.58.

Includes:
Continental breakfast for 2 per day. $29/ person per day.
So $116 total.

$100 property credit for food.

Welcome Amenity
