I had to change the chain (rusted and not very flexible - I snapped it anyway) and the derailleur came off.

I didn't think to take pictures beforehand, and now I'm stuck. Can anyone help? Where does it sit?

There isn't a screw holder at the bottom of the frame and I'm 99% confident it goes here (ish). But can someone tell me if it's along the frame (pic 1) or away from the frame (pic 2)?

Also (pic 3) - the cable is likely to hit the spokes/cassette - I assume I can just cut the cable and reattach a metal bit?

If it helps - Apollo frame. Please excuse the cassette, best I could do (and is much better than it was!).
