Is there any benefit to a CloudKey besides running Unifi applications?
I'm currently running a UCG Ultra and want to add Protect to my setup. Right now I'm debating between a UDM Pro, CloudKey+, or UNVR.
I'm probably ruling out the UNVR because I don't see myself running enough cameras to justify it. The CloudKey+ seems like the cheapest option since I already have the UCG Ultra and my WAN is only 1 Gbps anyway.
My concern is what happens when I eventually upgrade my internet. At that point, I'd probably want a beefier gateway. The CloudKey feels like an expensive brick by then.
Is there actually any use for a CloudKey+ besides running the UniFi apps that a UDM Pro can already run? Or would it make more sense to just spend the extra money now and get the UDM Pro?
Curious what you ended up doing, any advice is welcome.
The Google Drive backup option is doomed to fail forever?
All of the backups it has tried have failed. Great idea, poor execution
