Thinking of making a switch from Audi to Volvo (XC60 ?)
First off no I'm not Albanian (lol) I've been driving an Audi S5 Sportback for around the last 6 years, love the car but hate what Audi is doing with their newer cars plus I've been wanting to switch to an SUV as I'm getting older. Currently we are a family of 3 with 2 dogs.
I don't want something that is a complete bore to drive, I came across the XC60 T8 which seems like it might fit what I'm looking for. Not too big of an SUV, plus the plug-in hybrid getting up to 455 HP sounds pretty sweet. I have a relatively short commute of around 25 miles round-trip.
Is there any advice people can give regarding the XC60 T8 they wish they knew before getting one? I honestly don't know that much about Volvo regarding the different trim's and such. Which options they recommend etc.
Looks like my local dealer is having some pretty good discounts right tnow
Been running so bad I'm now losing due to dealer mistakes
Its been a rough last month, down just under $3k playing mostly 1/2 with little 2/5 mixed in a couple of times a week. It is what it is, just your normal expected variance where my 90% favorite can't hold and I'm constantly running into it.
Today was the cherry on top, after being card dead for the first 2 hours of sitting down, I lost a big pot with AK against 77 on an A72 rainbow board. Couple of hands later I was all in on the flop with an open-ended straight draw, 2 villains called. On the turn the dealer didn't give the other two players a chance to act and just burned and peeled off the river which would've given me the stone nuts.
Floor called over, they shuffled the river back into the deck, let the players act and the new river bricked out and I lost.
Its one thing losing due to my play/run bad, but to FINALLY hit a draw but lose to dealer error is just brutal. Probably my sign to take a while off.
Every sit down get your ass kicked for an hour, re-think poker as your hobby and leave?
More of a venting rant than anything, I only get to play maybe once a week on Fri/Sat. Just sat down for about an hour and got absolutely smoked. Obviously not the worst bad beats but for all the hands to happen within a short period of time was rough. Probably some hands I missed as well
- Flopped set vs flopped straight on 457 rainbow
- JJ over-pair vs flopped set of 3's
- 1010 vs AQ and AJ, J on river
- A10 on a 10 high flop vs JJ
- AA zero action
- Missed multiple open ended and flush draws
I'm normally not one to tilt but the cake on top was this hand - I insta left after
3 people in the hand - I flopped two pair with A3 on A36, bet all 3 streets, Jacks called me down and hit J on the river
