Context: Sorry, I assumed everyone in this sub is more knowledgeable than me about the comics. This one is about the 2005 run, especially the first 19 issues.

I know the in comic explanation is that she's basically sun bathing the entire journey to earth. You're seriously telling me that her loving/genius father didn't consider packing some clothes for her arrival to a potentially hostile planet?

Also WTF are the first issues of this run? Her "relationship" with Boomer is just so gross and inappropriate. I'm heavily side-eyeing the entire "creative team" that made this. There's no way well adjusted adult men should be sexualizing a teenage girl like this.

Random question: If you buy single issues, how do you even store them?

Yo, I get it, it wasn't a direct adaptation and there wasn't a giant dragon fight and it's not as colorful as the Art by Bilquis Evely.

But damn, let people live.

On a lighter note, would you say the Silver and Bronze age Supergirl comics are worth reading?

Just finished New 52, starting rebirth, but I'm sure I'll be all caught up soon. So read older comics or follow a new character?

I can't believe I didn't realize how cool Supergirl is. I need to go back and smack some sense into my younger self.

That was so dark, but so good. Hope season 4 happens and I hope they stop making Crisis happen and killing Kara.

Ok, I haven't read Supergirl comics just seen the TV and movie versions. So far I prefer cynical depressed Kara version. If you got any suggestions on which comic storylines to read send them my way. Already bought Woman of Tomorrow, hopefully it's delivered soon.

Not sure if that's the best flair, but watched a video about diy cooling pack (PCM) that remains significant cooler that just the regular store bought ones. Seems like something people in this sub could really use.
