I'm not sure if this counts as a spoiler for the movie, but if you've read Woman of Tomorrow, you know that Krema isn't killed in the end.
“Unless Lobo is hunting for his head”
In the comics, Krem was thrown into the Phantom Zone, but considering that DC Comics is currently running a storyline with Salvagen…
So what are the odds that Krem will be shoved there instead of the Phantom Zone?
Yeah, I get it—Krem hasn't shown up anywhere else since WOT. But after the movie, the character might become more popular, and we'll get more stories featuring him, both in the DCU and in the comics.
Refer to the title above.
I haven't followed the comics for about a generation. I think it's brilliant that they're dealing with the existential grief that a teenager would feel at the loss of her entire planet, but I don't know if was dealt with in comics before now.
Thanks for the help!
I was procrastinating on university work and thought, "someone has to do something about the supergirl poster situation," but I'm too impatient.
I get that she may not be everyones preference but to call her unattractive is beyond me. I remember seeing her in House Of The Dragon and wondering who she was because she looked pretty.
So I picked this up because I assumed it lead into the Supergirl and The Legion of Superheroes book but I don’t think that’s the case. In this book she goes off into space with Donna Troy. So my question is where does her story go after this and in what books does it pick up in if any?
I'm planning a fanfiction about where Kara would land on Earth alongside Kal-El. Initially, I was gonna do a type of story where Kara would become a superhero before Kal-El, but...I didn't really have much of a long-term idea for how it'll pan out.
However, I figured I'd make a story about how Kara would adjust to life on Earth, as well as how Kal-El would grow up, conflicted by Kara's teachings of Krypton compared to the Kents' teachings, which would confuse him and frustrate Kara, as it would risk him growing up not truly understanding his heritage. This, combined with Kara's struggles and protectiveness over her cousin, I believe, would make a more interesting story!
Even so, I'm still a bit new to DC as a whole, as I got truly into it thanks to Superman 2025, and Absolute Wonder Woman (who's becoming my favorite superhero as a whole), so I would like some advice on how to do the characters properly, especially Kara/Supergirl, who apparently was mischaracterized in the CW Supergirl compared to her comic book apperances.
Any advice for my idea would be appreciated!
I know basically nothing about Supergirl, and in general have never been a big DC fan.
I want to change that, and I’m looking for a place to start.
What comic runs would you recommend?
Thanks!
