Young Kal/Clark: Superboy Meets Supergirl

From Superman Unlimited #16

Nice family moment between the cousins.

Appreciate how they care for each other over themselves and it's nice that Kara gets a chance to finally be a protecter to Young Kal-El that she was unable to be due to her late arrival.

Why Reiji Used This Specific Horned Beast (Kakuzyu)...

I think they had Reiji used Denkaku in Omegahorn Episode 4 because that Kakuzyu's name translates to electric horn

Jouchaku the transformation phrase for Gavan can be translated as electroplating.

How Do You Imagine Superman Red & Superman Blue Being Retold In MAWS?

A famous Superman story that gets homaged several times is where Superman gets split into 2 Supermen: Superman Red and Superman Blue.

Given that MAWS has Superman regularly give off glowing electric blue energy and in the episode Vae Victis, Superman gives off glowing electric red energy during the Ancient Krypton simulation.

How do you imagine an adaptation of Superman Red and Superman Blue playing out in MAWS?

Past iterations of Superman Red/Superman Blue have varied when it comes to how Superman splits (Kryptonite, energy being about to be dispersed that needed to be in 2 places at once, Fifth Dimensional Magic, continuity rewrite), the mechanics (identical powerset or split powerset), and the personalities of Superman Red/Superman Blue.

Jason's Return Storylines Over The Years: Thoughts & Favorites?

Jason has had several storylines about him returning to the show/Port Charles, what are your thoughts on them and which ones are your favorite?

I am tied between 2017 and 2024 since they have a lot of drama and action that I am unable to put one over the other.

2017 - Jason breaks out of a clinic in Russia, is being hunted, returns to Port Charles to see Drew living his life, breaks through a skylight, saving Sam, the identity mixup, etc.

2024 - Jason is alive, working undercover with Pikeman for the FBI, fugitive, reunion with Carly/Michael/Danny, charged with Dante's shooting, etc.

Honorable mention to 2001 with Jason working in secret and getting Sonny out of a fire.

As of now concerning the return storyline in 2026 where Jason comes back from WSB custody, it feels very low-key and not as eventful as other storylines in my opinion.

Villains I'd Like To See In Absolute Superman

Atomic Skull, Bizarro, Cyborg Superman, Mxyzptlk, Galactic Golem, Insect Queen, Silver Banshee, Solaris, and Phantom King Xa-Du/Aethyr are villains that I'd like the Absolute Universe variations of.

Eradicator and Amalak feel like good picks for villains to pit against Absolute Superman who has heavier ties to Krypton than Mainline Superman.

Manchester Black and Magog would be effective foils to Absolute Superman who chooses not to kill in the Absolute Universe where evil has the upperhand.

Chemo, Doctor Chaos, Solomon Grundy, and Etrigan feel like good oppnents for Absolute Superman that are not mainly Superman villains (but still have history with Superman) and offer a glimpse into the greater Absolute DC Universe.

Blackrock, Master Jailer, Terra-Man feel like they can work as enemies to Absolute Superman who's a working class champion of the oppressed that lives in Smallville, Kansas.

Headcanon: Clark Reuses The Kryptonian Beacon For The Superman Signal Devices

In other media, Superman builds devices that emit an ultrasonic sound that only Superman can hear and hands them out to trusted associates to summon Superman in an emergency.

The most famous is Jimmy Olsen's Signal Watch while Superman & Lois had the ELT for the Kent Family.

I'd like to headcanon that Smallville Clark during his time as Superman repurposes the Kryptonian beacon (the ringing that Clark hears when a Kryptonian artifact becomes active) for Superman Signal Devices.

Superboy Trains Young Clark Kent

From New Adventures of Superboy #15-16

Pre-Crisis Superboy (Kal-El/Clark Kent) from Earth-1 finds himself on a parallel earth after using super speed to stop a tornado.

There Superboy trains and inspires a young Pre-Crisis Earth-2 (Golden Age) Clark Kent who is not Superboy and has yet to become Superman.

Imagine Smallville Clark Meeting Young Clark: Superboy

(Images are from New Adventures of Superboy #15-16)

There was a Young Clark as Superboy comic story where he accidentally traveled to a parallel world where that world's Clark hadn’t become Superboy and was still struggling with his powers that made him feel different along with what to do with his future.

Superboy trains Clark in using his powers to varying degrees of success and it inspires that Clark to work on helping people which ultimately culminates in Parallel Clark becoming Superman in the future.

Superboy decides to forego telling Clark about Krypton since Clark and his parents struggle to believe in parallel universes.

Parallel Clark, despite the training, still cannot use all of the powers associated with Superboy/Superman like flight or x-ray vision for instance.

The Smallville TV show never would've done this story given its guidelines though I could see a version of the concept being implemented.

However, I do wonder how it would've gone if there had been an episode/story where Smallville Clark and the Kents along with whoever else from the cast meet a costumed Clark as Superboy who comes from a parallel universe?

I Think It Would Be Neat If Ultraman's Symbol Is An Inverted Omega Symbol

A design detail that I think would be cool for DC Ultraman is that his U symbol looks like a stylized upside-down omega symbol in an upside-down pentagonal shield.

Given that the omega symbol is tied to Darkseid who on a universal scale is seen as the antithesis to Superman.

Knuckles VS Howl

From Sonic and the Blade of Courage Chapter 15

Wonder if this is a subtle Sonic Movie reference with the Echidnas vs the Owls?
