I understand he was angry (justified) but what do you think of tony trying to brutally kill bucky for his parents death despite knowing bucky had no autonomy or control over his actions.

During 2019-2022 days, The Boys was regarded as like one of the more praised shows at the time and also one of the best (if not the best) superhero shows. Like pretty much everyone loved it despite minor criticism. Remember those... "The Boys destroyed the MCU or The Boys is peak or just prasing/glazing youtube videos".

All that is gone now. Like the show is like mocked more than praised now (deserved)... like its assoaicated with bad writing. It's kind of sad in a way but Kripke did this to himself only.

"Clara would've wanted this to be honest". Not trying to hate but just feel the vibe has changed completely. The switch up is insane.

Take it with grain of salt...

Season 5 finale is basically the same as season 3 finale... butcher jumps homelander with 2 supes and 1 of them has a chest blast to depower. Since the V1 and Virus didn't impact the story at all... especially since season 4 and 5 was basically just that stuff.

So... was season 3 the ending. Story reached its narrative peak (whole season was great until finale) and Homelander isn't really that hard to defeat anyways.

The ass-pull in the last second was the reason why the whole story took a reset and became boring in season 4 and 5 (vought rising ad)... which was just spinning circles until we reach the same conclusion as S3E8.

The only moment I liked worth exploring was Homelander's childhood and lab scene.

Props to the marketing department. Trailers, posters, and the promos for each episode is more hype than the season itself. Really good stuff. (called it clickbait cause couldn't find another word).

If i knew it was false adverstising... i would've just skipped the season itself. Really sad, stuff. Even stranger things got some good budget scenes in final season.

She is one of the more evil characters in the show (while not complete pshyco display like homie) but man she is directly invovled with building homelander's brutal regime (freedom camps) and reponsible for so many innocents deaths.

Also, her orignal plan to cause a purge and sit in a bunker like some moron. MM bonding with her felt so forced to me (a guy whose family died fighting vought). I don't care if she is... "QUIRKY".

Also, didn't she rape that guy in Gen V. She deserved a worse fate.
