I'm considering building a refinery-ship and was wondering if you had any advice on the conveyor layout and blocks required to make it functional. I usually play in sandbox-mode, so I'm not fully aware of everything that's needed to make it work so I would greatly appreciate any tips before I commit to a lengthy build.
Been having a lot of fun building these ships lately!
I set myself some constraints and limited the height of the builds as much as possible. Most of the hull is built using two layers and each ship needed to feature a functional airlock, as well as all the basic amenities one might need (Beds, bathroom, kitchen).
I also went for an asymmetrical layout to make the design a bit more interesting and this helped maximize the available space as well since I could create dedicated areas for specific systems.
