Public lead service line records made easier to search

I built https://leadserviceline.org to make public lead service line records easier to look up by address.

The goal is basic access and transparency: helping residents find what public records say, when records are available. Caveat: inventories can be incomplete, outdated, misclassified, or otherwise wrong. This is not a water test, medical advice, exposure assessment, or a replacement for local utility or public health guidance. It should be treated as a starting point for follow-up, not a definitive answer.

[self-promotion] Searchable public lead service line inventory records across the US

I built a free searchable site for public lead service line inventory records:

https://leadserviceline.org/

It aggregates public records from state, city, utility, spreadsheet, and PDF sources into address, water system, city, and state lookup pages.

Caveat: the records are only as good as the public inventories they come from. They can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong, and this is not a water test or a replacement for checking with a local utility.

Right now it is a website. If there is demand, I would like to add an API or bulk data access so people can pull the data directly.

I made a searchable database of public lead service line inventory records

I built a free site that aggregates public lead service line inventory records from across the US into one searchable place:

https://leadserviceline.org/

You can search by address, water system, city, or state. The source data is public, but it is often scattered across state, city, utility, spreadsheet, and PDF sources.

Important caveat: this is not a water test and it is not a replacement for checking with a local utility. The records are only as good as the public inventories they come from, so they can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong.

If there is demand, I may add an API so people can pull the data directly.
