What to do with cash in registered accounts while I don't see what to buy at the current moment: short time action

So, say, I have 100k at my TFSA and I invest to single stocks and few ETF. I buy from time to time stocks which I think have good value, but as right now the markets are near ATH I am reluctant to buy a lot. Meanwhile I got some cash accumulated recently on my account: say 15k. Right now it's just lying there waiting for any good dips or deals (like, MSFT or HD), but it may take 1-3 months till I see something I like, and I hate that these 15k don't work.

So, what's the best way to keep my cash pile working and invested into something that doesn't lose value if there's market crash, and readily available to quickly convert back to cash and reinvest into real stocks in case of good opportunity? Like, some cash ETF or alike.

EDIT: please simply help me with my question. I don't want to change my investment habits and that's not what I'm asking. I buy low and sell ATH and u think it works for me. I have other habits that I follow, but that's not important.

One thing I forgot to mention: my time horizon is 7-10 years.

Flexiroam in Sydney/Canberra (Australia) - doesn't work

I use Flexiroam as my major travel card (physical sim) due to holding WorlElite Mastercard that give me free service 3 times a year. Unfortunately, this time in Australia it did not work. The customer support tried to help, but mostly by making sure my APN settings were correct, etc. Despite their efforts and reassuring the service works in Aus, all was in vain so I was out of internet for a week (was using cousin's wifi sharing). Could not manually register on neither of Telstra, Optus or Vodafone.
