Luna streaming vs Local PC host (Moonlight/Sunshine/Steam Link) — What is your setup preference for games you already own?

Hi everyone,
I'm evaluating how to best handle my gaming setup when a title is available on Amazon Luna but I already own it on PC (Steam, Epic, GOG, EA, Ubisoft, etc.).
Since both setups end up targetting 1080p / 60 FPS streams on my living room devices (using a MacBook Air or ROG Ally as client):

  1. Luna Stream: Plug-and-play streaming direct from the cloud.
  2. Local Streaming: Streaming from my home gaming rig via Sunshine + Moonlight / Steam Link. My host PC specs: Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 32 GB RAM, RTX 4070 Ti 12 GB.

For those of you who have a capable local gaming PC and stream locally:

  • Do you ever choose Luna over your own home PC stream for games you already own?
  • How are graphics presets / visual quality typically configured on Luna server instances compared to running high/ultra settings locally on a modern GPU?
  • Is the convenience of not waking up/managing a local PC host worth any difference in visual density or input latency on Luna?

Would love to hear your experiences and pros/cons for both approaches!

Is there a reliable way to check when games are leaving Amazon Luna?

Hi everyone,
I'm fairly new to Amazon Luna and I'm really enjoying the service so far. However, I'm a bit worried about starting a long game, getting heavily invested, and having it leave the catalog before I can finish it.
Is there a simple and reliable way to check the exact expiration dates or "leaving soon" titles for Luna games?
Do these dates always show up on the game page within the UI, or is there a specific site / community tracker that keeps an updated list of upcoming removals?
Thanks in advance for the help!

Unofficial Addons on Batocera 43

Is the latest version of Batocera Unofficial Addons compatible with Batocera 43? I did a fresh Batocera 43 install and want to reinstall BUA that worked great on my old 42.
