I (22 female to male) am getting a hysterectomy next month due to endometriosis and as part of my gender affirming care, but mostly the endometriosis. It felt like a long process, but I’m so thankful it’s happening soon. I’ve never been more excited and nervous, but I’ve fought really hard to get it. I feel like a weight is slowly being lifted from my shoulders in a sense.

I do have some questions, like what should I expect pain wise? What should I keep on me while I recover? What should I look out for?
