Is my boss's time frame reasonable for rough in?
Kind of a new helper at my current job, been there about 3 months 80% of which was finaling in apartments which was always very lax.
Now we are roughing in the new buildings and my boss is expecting us to nail boxes, drill holes, run wire, and cut in a connected bedroom/bath/closet in about 45 minutes
to me this sounds like he is smoking crack. I could feasibly run the homerun and wire the bedroom in about 45 minutes if i'm not cutting in but once i get to the bathroom lights and vent fans that takes me about another 30 minutes to box and wire
half of the people i work with will do the "i know people here who can do it in 20 minutes" bs and it's irritating. we constantly have to go back and redo stuff after drywall is put in and it puts us days behind
i'm not destroying my body in a 90 degree apartment to run a bedroom in 45 minutes for 16/hr. Maybe when it's fall or winter i'll try to set my record if i dont have a controls job somewhere else by then
