This one has evaded me for years . I swear it was on a dance complication CD you could buy on the TV. Prob part of a dance "megamix " type of thing. Help !
I just started the shot two weeks ago. Initially was taking my shot on a Friday but it made my Saturday morning long run pretty unenjoyable. Things were much better around my Tuesday run though.

I switched my shot day to Saturday (right after my long run) and that was a really smart call. Made my Saturday run much easier then if I took the shot on Friday.

Any other endurance athletes or folks training for a marathon that have any tips on how to make those first few runs after shot day a little less rough? Did 4 miles this morning after taking the shot Saturday afternoon and was much harder then it should have been (finished on pace though which was good ).

I went to the emergency room two days ago because I had the symptoms of a blood clot in my calf area on my left leg .

Sure enough it was what they called a "superficial blood clot" and not DVT. It was 3cm but as a precaution they prescribed me Eliquis.
​
As I understand it the thinner doesn't really "fix" the clot but it prevents new clots and helps prevent the current one from getting worse. The clot should resolve it self over time.

I'm seeing my primary care doctor tomorrow and wondering if he's going to keep me on the eliquis or tell me to stop it (I'm currently marathon training so even though in 4 years Ive tripped a total on 1 time there is still a risk).

Based on the hype from a year plus ago it sounded like "the band was getting back together" and we were going to see Al and Paul make a new record , tour , bring back Ministry of the old days.... Etc.
Maybe I read the news wrong but I haven't seen any of that yet? Am I just jumping the gun?
