Hello fellow brick enthusiasts and lepinites, after about a month and a half, I have completed the ISD Eviscerator and it's absolutely beautiful.
I bought the instructions on brickvault and sourced parts by various means (roughly 18000 pieces). The amount of detail on this thing is staggering and it was really cool to see it come together. The most fun parts to build were the engines and bridge,
The top decks were tedious but sooo cool to see all the greebling since I am a sucker for builds with detailed greebles.
While instructions from Brickvault are normally good, this build has a couple major flaws that definitely put this in the expert builder category.
Still despite these issues, the end result is well worth the effort. Here are some of my praises of this build:
Comparing this MOC to my two other star destroyers, the Monarch and Aggressor, I'd say this win in terms of sheer presence, though the Aggressor of course has an interior and the Monarch is a smoother build.
My next big projects will be the Brickvault UCCS Venator and the ISD Intimidator by Charles Anderson

Guys, wait for the earnings. I promise it will go up
IDK why, but I find the plot and storytelling of the 2003 cartoon very lacking. Especially with how it sets up and handles major villains like Brother Blood, Trigon and the Brain.
For one, none of the villains actually have good plans, most of their plans ultimately just fail to "heroic mega blast".
In the Trigon arc in Season 4, ep3 and ep7 were basically repeating the same thing, that Raven is a portal for Trigon and slade throwing around the Titans with his powers. I wish we had gotten more about Azarath, or Arella besides the quick scene in ep7. Trigon himself is super one dimensional.. I would've preferred Hell to be an actual setting with various demons. Then Trigon himself emerges and basically sits around until the last episode - where he just gets mega blasted by Raven with no set up.
The Brain's arc was even more underwhelming. There's supposed to be this big war going on between the Titans and Brotherhood, but we don't really see much strategy and intelligence from how the Brain handles the titans, other than when he stole the communicator. He mostly just keeps throwing villains at them and fighting them separately - then eventually just gets overwhelmed at the end anyway.
Another issue I had was Terra's betrayal. Her reasons for betraying the Titans seem really weak, like she clearly fears and dislikes Slade even before betraying the Titans. And it's not like she has any valid reason to carry a grudge on the Titans. A better way to write that arc would have been the Titans sending Terra away until she can control her powers - she's angry because she thinks they're basically kicking her out. Or at least when the betrayal was revealed Terra should have told Beast Boy something like "you promised to keep my secret but you lied."
