So just screw iphone users huh?

So here's the deal. I am a frequent international traveler. I work in secured locations that don't allow me to carry cellphones into my workplace. As such, I use Fi instead of other carriers that offer international coverage mainly because I need to be able to recieve 2FA texts on the webbrowser while I am inside secured facilities. I used to easily be able to login to message.web and do this.

So I login today to find out it doesn't work anymore unless I use some stupid phone sync and my phone has to be on getting data. Well I am often in countries that have coverage holes or arent even supported by Fi. Okay whatever maybe I can use the website to receve 2FA CALLS instead of texts. Okay fine, I can get a local sim for data but then I see this stupid message ...

This is so lame. I don't even know why I use Fi now.

I've been thinking about just switching to Tmobile when I get back stateside, this might just do it. But I'm seeing mixed reports about 2FA texts not being supported by T-mobiles DIGITS website/app also. So google just says F everyone who is not full google?

To think I am still in GooglePixelFan (because I used to be a hardcore Pixel user) but I stopped using them after twice getting black screen of death while overseas and not being able to get the phones fixed overseas.

What to do now?
