MIO: Memories in Orbit - Just WOW!...

MIO: Memories in Orbit - Just WOW!...

Just that, I come to say that MIO is a great game... it's a Soulslike (in a way), it's difficult in a good way, some bosses are really a pain in the ass... some platformer sections are really challenging... doesn't feel cheap when you know how to control your character; everything flow.

The exploration and the story are awesome, if you like to pick up breadcrumbs of lore (like the Soulslike), you definitely have to try this game.

To get the 100% I spent ~25 hrs. I have to use a guide from YouTube and some interactive map to track down all the collectibles at the very end of the game... some areas are hidden very well and it feels totally unfair that some big areas are inaccessible or the game doesn't give a clear hint about how to reach them... I had a similar feeling when in Elden Ring it's discovered the underground world.
All in all, was one of the best Metroidvanias that I played in the last 2 or 3 years, easily.

Take it for a try; if you have a PC or Xbox Series, it's on GamePass Ultimate.
If you liked Nine Sols, this is another gem with the same feeling.

Edit - I will update some other Metroidvanias that I played recently:
- Nine Sols
- Ghost Song
- Mandragora
- Replay: Blasphemous 1 + DLCs
- Replay: Hollow Knight + DLCs
- Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown + DLCs
- Minishoot' Adventures
