As a millennial emo who loves AFI, I was so stoked to get Davey on Riptide a few years ago. It was a decent song but never a top 20 song Lane 8 song (imo).

Then after hearing Pretty Picture, Empty Theater live at dillon i thought it was an obscure depeche mode or new order song. It kinda stuck with me last two days, and looking it up sitting in the airport i realized it was Davey Havok. After a few more listens I really love this track. It gives me those old school vibes but feels fresh.

Anyway the point of the post I just want to appreciate someone that has a lot of talent (in a totally different genre) and clout in the music industry seeing and recognizing the talent of Lane 8 and collaborating in a meaningful way with our boy

Any podcast nerds in the house? Two of my favorite podcasters (Robert Evans of behind the bastards and Joe Kassabian of Lions Led by Donkey) are teaming up and starting a Warhammer 40k podcast. Not exactly sure what to expect for the actual podcast subjects and whatnot but this is great news since they both always put out quality media.
