The dude has come out flying this fall. It seems like he's always on the ice somehow. One minute his skates are above his head or he's catching one in the face, the next he's laying a perfect pass for a goal. I know that one day he'll be a step too slow, but that day isn't today. He's worth so much more for this team than his stats sheet. I hope he retires into the organization like Martin and Clutterbuck did (if that's what he wants).
I know there a lot of story lines this fall, and “4^(th) line center is still good” is not getting clicks, but I think his hustle on the ice is infectious, and sets a great standard for the team.

I can't help but peek over to content related to Shabanov from Wild fandom, they are saying he is playing great. Creating chances with crisp passes, driving down the middle and being physical. Also he is getting pretty healthy dose of PP1 minutes.

Why didn't we give Shabanov another year?

Great game last night, still can’t believe Schaefers play at the blue line.

Obviously the season is still young, but for those that really understand hockey systems and strategy- what are you seeing that’s different from DeBoer so far?

It seems like we have much more structure in our own end, last season we always seemed to be scrambling and eventually give up a high danger shot in the slot. So far this year I’m not seeing panic and chaos.

I know nothing about hockey systems, but on the scale of Trotz clamps to Dougie Weight pond hockey- it seems like we are in control in our own end but still running a transition game.

How was your experience leaving the parking lots or taking the LIRR?

Looks like when the Islanders win people seems to forget how long it takes to get out of the Emerald parking lot or how long the walk to the LIRR station is 😭😭

Will they sell & put on the all star and A patches during the game? If so how much did it cost you? Thank you
