Found it in a box of Steve Thomas memorabilia and it’s clearly not signed by him. Anybody recognises it?

My kid just pulled this. Just starting his collection but this one might be mine…
Reminder: only players who have a cap hit of $4M or higher can be bought out in second window
May mean nothing. But let’s see
Islanders Global Site
Hi all, Islanders Global is a project I have been working on and think of for a very long time. My ultimate goal with this project is to make the Islanders a globally recognized brand, and this is the first step. Every single Islanders fan has a place in Islanders Global.
Please take a look at the slides to understand exactly what Islanders Global is and how to get involved. Whether you're just traveling or live in a foreign country, i'd love to have your submission on the globe. This project will be meaningless without the help of you guys, so I urge you to please get involved! If you ever have any questions please DM me! My instagram is @the4stripes Islanders Global
(yes i have two places holders, the4stripes and evilthe4stripes)
To say I'm excited is an understatement.
Barzal rookie premier auto $80
Barzal ice auto $30

There will 1000% be offer sheets coming for Schaefer next summer. Darche needs to lock him up before 1 July (or have a deal ready to announce at the first available moment if that's not allowed).
1991-92 Islanders Away Patrick Flatley
Sometimes the attachment starts before you actually understand the sport, a jersey someone gave you or a game on in the background at a family thing. Mine predates me actually knowing the rules by a couple years. What's your earliest Isles memory.

Love the guy. Can't say enough good things about him. Now that his Islanders tenure has ended, where does his legacy stand? I think he's an islandrrs hall of famer. Not quite a jersey to the rafters guy, but definately a great Islander and an awesome captain. I'd love to see him take a job in the organization when his playing days are over. Maybe as s scout or something like that. What do you guys think?
I wasn’t sure about using a modern jersey for one of my favorite players but commemorating the Isle’s 50th with and all-time great seemed ok to me.
Yesterday marked the start of the new league year for the NHL, and with that, I thought this would be a good time to update everyone on the Islanders and what trade protection statuses they have, as virtually everyone on this team who is eligible has some form of it.
NMC and 10 team trade list
Palat (I believe this means he can be traded to any of the 10 teams on his list but can't be placed on waivers)
Full NMC
Sorokin
Full NTC
Horvat, Mayfield, Pageau, Pulock
22 Team NTC
Barzal
16 Team NTC
Duclair, Engvall, Palmieri, Pelech, Varlamov
15 Team NTC
Schenn
3 Team NTC
DeAngelo
The following happens on July 1, 2027:
Romanov's full NTC kicks in (active until July 1, 2030 when it becomes a 16 team NTC)
Horvat, Mayfield, and Pulock's NTCs downgrade from full to 16 teams
Looks like Rocky Thompson from the Bridgeport Islanders Hamilton Hammers is going to be leading the Isles power play. I haven’t watched the AHL team much but they did make the playoffs so there’s that.
For me, regardless of who took over this spot: I’ll believe in a good PP when I see it. What does everyone think of this?
Im sorry but this sub is freaking out on day one of signings. Day one of an offseason where THEY LITERALLY CANT DO ANYTHING.
What were the expectations here? We all knew there wasnt much available and even if someone was, we have zero assets for trades.
I think what Darche has done is fine. This is a team that wont be competitive for at LEAST 3-5 YEARS. What the hell does it matter what moves are made RIGHT NOW?
Saw a comment in another thread about all the guys that could be gone after this upcoming season, and made me wonder when the last time the team was really “gutted”. Not even in a “we are rebuilding” way but more in a “a ton of guys are coming off the books we aren’t re-signing” kind of way.
