Why did we give up on Maxim Shabanov? Wild fans and analysts are raving about his potential, he is playing top 6 roles with heavy PP1 minutes

I can't help but peek over to content related to Shabanov from Wild fandom, they are saying he is playing great. Creating chances with crisp passes, driving down the middle and being physical. Also he is getting pretty healthy dose of PP1 minutes.

Why didn't we give Shabanov another year?
