[OC] Kings' franchise historical performance relative to .500

Here is your franchise's cumulative record relative to .500 (equal wins and losses) throughout their entire history.

I will be making one such graph for each team. The complete album can be seen here.

OT losses are counted as losses.

Our Future

Which rookies do you think will be part of our future core? Such as Carter George, Elton Hermannson, etc. How do we feel about the Kings draft as well?

[Pagnotta] In addition to LA and TB, I believe that Calgary and Minnesota are among the teams also considering pursuing UFA sniper Patrik Laine.

Seeing how most of the big signing are out of the way what are your first impressions?

overall I’m quite surprised.

Haula I’m pretty happy with, that was someone I wanted last year seeing how he killed it with Armia.

Perry is just a funny signing at this point. And we got a second out of it last year. 1x1 no real risk. Say what you want about his character but he always gave it his all.

Zuccarello, again 1x1 low risk. Great deal surprised we got him. Those bonuses must be insane.

laughton I’m again surprised, for sure I thought he would have gotten 4 or 5 mil from someone and he was great for us.

the rest were really AHL signings, no real opinion on them. Sad to see STOPLEY go same with Malott wish them luck. shame we didn’t keep Kuzy but 5 mil is expensive

in a vacuum good day so far all individually good contracts and signings. That said looking at it not in a vacuum, less so thrilled. We got older. Like a lot older with these moves, in a league that is more and more moving to youth and fast we did the opposite (the good thing is low term for everyone so) and the D core is still a massive problem, and We signed a two pretty good 3/4 c centers but we’re missing a true 1c.

i just don’t see this team getting it done. At best a first round exit, which sucks feels like another year where we’ll be stuck in the mushy middle…this years draft is looking good with probably the most hyped up player since Mcdaivd. That’s a player worth being bad for. and even if not we NEED that top end talent in our prospects. I like who we have but look at the other young teams. we don’t have a Leo Carlson, celebrini, demidov, etc and with the cap just going to keep going up, players like that aren’t going to hit FA. and we don’t have the stuff to trade for them. the only option is to draft them, and for that we need to be bad, not mushy middle
