Free to Read: Nashville Predators are No. 10 in NHL Pipeline Rankings for 2026
2. David Edstrom, C
Feb. 18, 2005 | 6-foot-3 | 185 pounds | Shoots left
Drafted: No. 32 in 2023
Tier: Bubble top and middle of the lineup player
Skating: NHL average
Puck skills: NHL average
Hockey sense: NHL average
Compete: Above NHL average
Analysis: Edstrom’s production last season in the AHL was just OK, but he had a big role in Milwaukee, playing both special teams and looked better than his numbers. He isn’t a center full of highlight reels, but he’s an easily likable player. Edstrom is big and fast, competes hard, and creates a lot of offense in the high-percentage areas. He has good enough hands and vision to make difficult plays with the puck and projects to have reasonable amounts of offense. He’s a player who checks a lot of boxes, and with his size he could be a solid two-way second-line center or an excellent third-line center.
Today's 32 in 32 is the Predators
Just saw this and man i knew its been a while but seeing the sentence "The predators haven't won a playoff series since 2018" kinda broke me.
Lot to positive about though. Probably the most I've been excited in the last few years. I'm really excited to see what the new guys bring in.

instagram.comPreds Fans: More Info on How to Watch Games in 2026-27!
So I emailed them about a week ago asking for more information, specifically about options for fans who don't have cable or even an antenna. I also wanted to know more about the DTC app they mentioned, pricing, when you are away from home, or simply want to pay to stream a game without needing cable or an antenna. Here is their full response
"Thank you for reaching out to us! After being televised for several years on cable stations like Fox Sports South, Bally’s and FanDuel, the Nashville Predators are going to be available on standard over the air television in Nashville and all the major markets in the team’s five state footprint (Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia. Scripps Sports is the team’s new broadcast partners, and over the air stations are being identified and contracted in Nashville, Knoxville, Memphis, Chattanooga, Huntsville, Louisville, Birmingham and Lexington. More will be added. Fans can get these stations in their homes with nothing more than a digital television antenna, and most cable and satellite providers offer these stations as well. In Nashville, Scripps has converted WNPX Channel 28 from an ION Channel to “The Spot - Nashville 28.” The spot is the sister station to CBS NewsChannel 5 and will be the local home for all Preds games not broadcast on national television. This will be the easiest way for local Preds fans to watch the team’s games moving forward. And it’s FREE!
In addition, the Preds and Scripps are creating a DTC (Digital to Consumer) App that will be integrated into the Preds App that many of our fans are already enjoying. Fans will be able to watch game on this app for less than $1 per game. This app promises to be very user friendly and information on how to subscribe to the app will be coming soon. Once all the details for the app are determined and the stations across our multi-state network are identified, we will publish a web page with everything fans need to know to watch the Preds in 2026-27.
Let me know if you have any other questions!"
